Took about 3 hours to recover from those blasted CA issues. All I need to do tomorrow is install the roll stops… by drilling holes in finished pen caps 😳😳. Scariest moment of the entire build!

This afternoon has been a real kick in the pants.

This afternoon has been a real kick in the pants. Of the 10 components I wanted to wet sand and buff, 9 of them need to have the CA finish re-applied because it was too thin on the ends and I wet-sanded through it. 🤬

It has taken all of my available motivation to get back on the horse and try to get these things done today.

No.181 - Brown acrylic Aquabright (body) and blue-

No.181 - Brown acrylic Aquabright (body) and blue-dyed figured maple (ends) with brass accents. This rollerball pen has a cyanoacrylate finish polished to a high shine, and the cap features a 5mm roll stop made from gold-plated 316 stainless steel. Comes with a Schmidt 5888 medium tip in black.

Built on the @bullseyeturningsupply Apollo kit (proudly made here in the USA) the body insert has been machined from lead-free brass and the cap has triple-start threads. With an overall length of 149.5mm, the cap diameter measures 14.5mm, and the body diameter measures 13mm.
